"A great place with really professional, friendly staff. I have been going here over the last year for physio and massage for my back and have gotten great treatments from all the therapists. The clinic is also very clean and new."

“Physiotherapy, osteopathy and massage therapy experiences here for our entrees family exceeded our expectations. They listened to our concerns, did they’re own assessment to augment what we shared and gave the treatments and guidance that we needed to get our kids back to their sports.”
Marriam Kinny
“Great place, amazing service. Physio, massage, accu... Staff is incredible, couldn't recommend more. Between physio and massage, my original issue is almost all but gone, definitely in the manageable category now. ”

"Alejandra and her team are amazing to work with. I hobbled in with a knee injury I had for 2 weeks and it was severely impacting my day to day work (construction). After 1 treatment I was moving much more freely and now two weeks further down the line I am pain free and moving with ease at work again. Thanks Alejandra"

What shall I bring with me?
Bring your doctor’s referral if you have one. Though it is not necessary for sports rehabilitation, your insurance provider may require you to have a doctor’s referral for your coverage benefits. Bring along forms that your insurance provider may require.
Will I need follow up visits or maintenance care?
Typically, yes, but not always. The number of visits depends on the severity of your condition and the rehabilitation plan for your case. Your compliance to your treatment program also affects the length and success of your rehabilitation.
How does it differ from massage?
Accurate assessment by a qualified sports rehab therapist helps you find the right program for your condition. Initially, we target pain and promote healing, followed by progressive reconditioning to return you to the activities you love. Our multi-disciplinary team also provides patient education to avoid future injuries and maintain mobility, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
How long does my treatment take?
Sports rehab sessions depend on your specific condition and the program administered by your therapist. Generally, each therapy session takes 30 minutes..
Should I put heat or ice on this injury?
Until you see us, and we are better able to assess the injury it is often a good idea to try using the R.I.C.E. principle (Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation above the heart). This isn't to say that all injuries need ice, but it will often help in the reduction of swelling in the acute phase which can help limit tissue damage. Ice should be applied for 10-15 minutes up to once an hour, but should not be applied for more than 20 minutes at a time because this can reverse the effects. If you are dealing with a long standing problem, or you have tried icing and you did not feel any improvement and you do not see any signs of acute swelling then you may want to try application of heat to the area.
